hey … happened to stumble in off Google looking for some performances from the show you mentioned (Old Grey Whistle Test ) .

Just wanted to say you were RIGHT on target about the dumbazz constant flipping millisecond by millisecond shots used today .

It actually goes beyond just music ,sports or “action” movies . Sometimes I can be watching a stupid hardware show and want a closer look at the tools or techniques they are talking about but they won’t settle for 1 millisecond on a decent angle . I end up having to try and pause the DVR or slo mo it just to get a SEMI decent peek at things there is no need in the world to be shooting like that .

No need for it and it actually detracts from many movies , events and shows in so many ways .

That AP writer missed Journalism 101. I understand deadlines and the need to get the story in, but it kills me when there are no details. I’d rather read a comprehensive story. Just my opinion.
